About Us

The Underbite is led by Collin Armstrong  & Roy Ben-Tzvi –entrepreneurs who set out to understand the pet industry from the ground up.

In that process, one gap became impossible to ignore, there was no consistent way to see what was actually happening across the space beyond press releases and surface-level announcements.

The Underbite was created to close that gap.

Through reporting, interviews, podcasts, and ongoing conversations with founders, operators, and investors, we stay close to the people shaping the category.

Based in two of the most dog-dense cities in the U.S., we operate where pet culture, capital, and companies intersect.
