PetPace brings its vital-signs collar to Chewy
PetPace's $299.99 vital-signs collar went on sale at Chewy on October 6th, 2026, its third channel after its own site and Amazon. Chewy files it under GPS & Activity Trackers next to AirTags and rival trackers, and PetPace keeps the subscription that runs the monitoring.

PetPace's Smart Health collar went on sale at Chewy on October 6th, 2026, putting a $299.99 collar that tracks temperature, pulse and respiration in front of the largest online pet retailer's shoppers. Chewy is the collar's third named channel, after PetPace's own site and Amazon. The subscription that runs the monitoring stays with PetPace.
Chewy becomes PetPace's third sales channel
PetPace says the collar tracks pulse, respiration, temperature, heart rate variability, activity, sleep and posture, measuring vital signs every two minutes. It adds GPS tracking, Apple Watch compatibility and, with a subscription, 24/7 veterinary telemedicine plus monitoring programs for epilepsy and pregnancy. The collar comes in versions for dogs and cats.
The Burlington, Massachusetts company launched this third-generation collar on September 16th, 2025, selling it through its own website and Amazon, according to its release at the time. PetPace markets it as the only collar with true vital-signs monitoring, a company claim we have not independently verified.
Chewy shelves a health monitor as a GPS tracker
On Chewy, the dog collar listing sits under Training & Behavior, then GPS & Activity Trackers. That grid also holds $29 Apple AirTags, Samsung tags, Fi and Tractive trackers, Dogtra hunting collars and a $999 SpotOn GPS fence. Its filters cover GPS, waterproofing, AirTag compatibility and collar type, and we found none for health or vital signs. A Chewy deals page groups the aisle as "Tech & GPS Tracker Tags."
That matters because health claims are spreading in the same aisle. Tractive's Chewy listing, "Smart Dog GPS Tracker with Vital Signs Monitoring," sells for $65.69, says it alerts owners to changes in heart rate and respiratory rate, and adds that "Tractive is not a medical device." By our math, PetPace costs about 4.6 times as much before either subscription. Tractive, which Bending Spoons bought in May, still leads with location. PetPace leads with physiology, but a shopper filtering by GPS or price sees them side by side.
The subscription stays with PetPace
Chewy sells the hardware and PetPace keeps the plan. The listing prices most sizes at $299.99, in line with the limited-time price on petpace.com, and says the subscription is "sold separately by PetPace." The plan costs $300 for the first year and $200 a year after, so by our math the collar and a first year of monitoring come to about $600. The listing is not exclusive, and the release gives no sales target.
If we had to guess, the test for PetPace is whether a $300 health collar can stand out on a page built for GPS tags. Chewy brings the traffic.
The product page has to do the rest.
